Ebenezer Christian Life Church in Wairaka, Kakira Town Council, Jinja District, warmly welcomes you whether you are just visiting or seeking a new church home. We are a non-denominational community where you can come as you are, worship freely, encounter the love of Jesus Christ, and find a family of faith. Our Sunday service runs from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, and we look forward to seeing you! At ECLC, we believe people matter to God and therefore matter to us. We are committed to helping believers grow DEEP in Christ and reach WIDE into communities through discipleship, love, and impact.
OUR MISSION
As children of Ebenezer Christian Life Church, we commit ourselves to growing DEEP in the knowledge of who Christ is and reaching WIDE to communities as we make disciples who will make other disciples.
OUR DECLARATION
From our church shall flow a blessing to Jinja-Uganda, to Africa and to the nations of the earth, a light will shine from our church to let the whole world know that there’s a God and His name is mighty. Amen
Witnesses.
We believe everyone who has experienced God’s love has a testimony to share with another person as a witness. Every week, we go out into our communities as witness for Jesus Christ to those who haven’t believed in Him yet. We also have two months in a year when we send out witnesses to people’s homes every Sunday and we have seen many people come to Jesus through this, they have been discipled and are sent back to their communities as witnesses.
Disciple
We are big on discipleship, and we strongly emphasize one-on-one weekly discipleship sessions. We have developed a model in which every person has another person they are mentoring in the ways of God and doing life with. To us, a discipler is one who has been taught biblical knowledge and therefore can pass on the same knowledge to another We value relationships and winning souls to Christ.
Once someone is witnessed too and they accept Jesus Christ into their lives, they undergo formal discipleship mentoring after which they are recruited to go out and witness to others. Meanwhile, they continue with what we call lifelong informal discipleship.
At Ebenezer Christian Life Church, the cycle is not complete until a discipled person is discipling is discipling another person and the cycle continues.
