About our ministry
Dream Missions Uganda is a community transformation organization tapping into the power of education, skills building and economic empowerment to drive positive social change and sustainable development in the underserved communities in Jinja, Eastern Uganda.
We strongly believe that real empowerment is based on a hand-up approach rather than giving hands-outs, that is why we focus on providing education to children, vocational skills to youth and access to economic opportunities for the marginalized women which breaks the cycle of poverty and sparks sustainable community transformation and development
Our ministry
Dream Missions Uganda is a social impact organization providing shelter, basic needs, medication and education access for children, skills mentorship for youth and micro-loans for women in Uganda’s underserved communities.
The organization was founded to combat lack of access to education opportunities, shelter, basic needs, youth unemployment and poverty in the underserved communities of Jinja and Uganda as a whole.
The organization was founded by David Oteko who mobilized the community after noticing the challenges faced by Orphans, Street children, young people, widows, single women and elderly in the underserved communities of Jinja in Eastern Uganda.
We strongly believe that real empowerment is based on a hand-up approach rather than giving hands-outs, that is why we focus on providing education to children, vocational skills to youth and access to economic opportunities for the marginalized women which breaks the cycle of poverty and sparks sustainable community transformation and development
